This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to celebrate Angie Sauri, a shining example of passion, perseverance, and purpose within our andCo family. Angie is part of our Collections and Servicing Operations Support team, and outside of work, she’s the heart and hands behind La Casita Meals, a small business inspired by her Peruvian roots and her family’s love for food and baking.

Angie was born in Peru and raised in New York City, where her love for cooking began in her family’s kitchen. Coming from a family of bakers and cooks, she spent her childhood surrounded by the comforting smells of traditional Peruvian dishes. She loved helping in the kitchen, learning early on how food can bring people together and create lasting memories.

After moving from New York to Miami in 2014, Angie officially launched La Casita Meals in 2018. What started as cooking for one family soon grew into a thriving local business serving over thirty loyal clients each week. Her homemade meal plans quickly became a community favorite. When the pandemic affected her business, Angie moved to Orlando in 2021, where she joined andCo (then Legacy) and continued to share her culinary gifts with those around her.

“I’m proud to celebrate Angie, a proud Peruvian chef, during Hispanic Heritage Month. Angie brings the true spirit of collaboration, heart, and flavor to our team. Her positive energy adds great value to our workplace, her teamwork unites us, and her dishes tell stories of culture and pride. Angie’s passion reminds us how culture truly brings people together.”-- Rousana Figueroa Title and Portfolio Service Manager

We were lucky to experience Angie’s talents during our BLD Southeast “Fold Into Purpose” event at The Fold Indian Shores, where she catered an unforgettable lineup of Latin-inspired dishes. Guests were especially drawn to her Lomo Saltado, a signature Peruvian stir-fry and her personal favorite to make. Her dishes added both heart and heritage to the celebration, leaving everyone full and inspired.

Angie’s creativity extends far beyond savory cooking. She also makes artisan breads, focaccia pizza, cheesecakes, scones, jams, and more, all with her signature homemade touch.

"Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a textbook foodie. As a Louisiana native, food and music have deep roots in my heritage and culture. Eating food should not only be delicious, but also an experience where culture and passion meet, and Angie ensures that you feel all the love and Peruvian influence in her cuisine. She has an exceptional culinary gift that is only second to her contagious joy and personality! If you're looking for bold flavor that takes you on a journey and leaves a smile on your face, look no further than Angie Sauri!" -- Eric Ivey Multimedia Content Creator

You can catch her next at the Hunter’s Creek Farmers Market on October 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., located at:13538 Village Park Drive, Orlando, FL 32837. She’ll be showcasing an assortment of La Casita Meals baked goods and treats.
